"Did we mention... DO NOT send bottom or top plates?" |
Just a few hints... |
Gyratory molds LAUGH at styrofoam "packaging peanuts!!!!!!!!!" |
DO NOT use packing peanuts, tissue paper or other easily crushed material. |
DO use cardboard blocks, rolled cardboard, heavy twisted paper, rigid foam blocks and any other stiff light weight dunnage that will prevent the mold from moving in the shipping container. |
~~~~~~~~ If you can feel the mold moving inside the box... it will DESTROY the box in transit. ~~~~~~~~ |
Plastic buckets (5gal.) with snap on lids work GREAT and only cost a couple bucks. Rolled up cardboard around the sides and a piece of tape around the lid are all that it takes. But ... whatever container you use ... pack it so that the mold does not move and use material that does not crush easily... and... don't send bottom or top plates. |
